The BMW Group has announced that its MINI brand will only offer all-electric models in the future, as part of a presentation of its plans. The last new combustion model will be introduced in 2025.

The BMW Group has also revealed that the successor to the MINI Countryman will be offered with an all-electric drive and will go into production in 2023. From that year, MINI will produce electric cars built on a new dedicated platform.

By 2027, MINI wants to achieve sales of fully electric cars accounting for at least half of its total sales.
