Audi has unveiled the new Audi Q6 e-tron electric midsize SUV, which boasts an advanced 800-volt Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform developed in collaboration with Porsche. This model is designed to compete with the world's best-selling electric car, the Tesla Model Y, with dimensions of 4,771 x 1,993 x 1,648 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,899 mm.

There will be two introductory versions with two-wheel drive: a base version with a total output of 285 kW, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, a top speed of 210 km/h and an official range of 625 km (WLTP) and an SQ6 e-tron version with 380 kW, acceleration in 4.3 seconds, a top speed of 230 km/h and an official range of 598 km (WLTP).

An important feature is the fast charging system with a maximum output of 270 kW, allowing the vehicle to charge from 10% to 80% in around 21 minutes, giving a range of up to 255 km in 10 minutes of charging. The on-board charger has a capacity of 11 kW (22 kW at extra cost) and the vehicle supports Plug & Charge on compatible stations.

The Audi Q6 e-tron features a base boot capacity of 526 litres, which can be expanded to 1,529 litres by folding down the rear seats. It also offers a front trunk (frunk) with a volume of 64 litres.

The infotainment runs on the Android Automotive operating system and includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch central touchscreen and an additional optional display for the passenger. It will also offer a head-up display with augmented reality.

The Audi Q6 e-tron will be available to order starting this month with deliveries scheduled to begin in the third quarter of this year. Pricing starts at €74,700 for the base version and €93,800 for the SQ6 e-tron version.
