2022 Tesla Model 3 RWD (LFP) – 3 Years, 97,000 km Later

I bought my 2022 Tesla Model 3 RWD brand new, equipped with the LFP battery, and after three full years and 97,000 km, I can honestly say this car has exceeded every expectation I had of EV ownership.

This car introduced me to the reality of driving electric — smooth, quiet, low-cost, and simply out of this world. I’ve had zero mechanical issues and zero repair costs since new. The only things I’ve paid for are seasonal tire changes and home charging, which is both cheap and incredibly convenient.

The LFP battery chemistry is one of my favourite aspects. Being able to charge to 100% daily without worrying about degradation means I always start each morning with full range — a small thing that makes a huge difference in daily convenience.

Charging, in general, has been flawless. I’ve heard all kinds of horror stories from owners of other EV brands struggling with public charging networks, but in my case, Tesla Superchargers have been 100% reliable and effortless. Plug in, walk away, come back to a charged car. Simple as that.

After 97,000 km, the car still feels solid, drives like new, and remains as fun and efficient as day one. No squeaks, no rattles, no range anxiety — just a genuinely well-engineered car that does exactly what it promises.
